There is a non-refundable $31 Skate Canada Membership fee is included in your program costs. In the event of a withdrawal a $25 administration cost will apply. No refunds will be given after the 2nd week of the session. |
Registration Requirements for the 2010-2011 season:
Upon registration each parent will need the child's health care card, community membership (either Thorncliffe or their own community), cheques, cash or credit card to pay for the program and community membership if outside the Thorncliffe Greenview community, and blank cheques for post dating if choosing bingos to offset the cost of the program registration.
Bingos must be picked at the time of registration. Registration will not be taken and bingos chosen at a later date. Everything must be completed at the same time.
No spots will be held for any program. Registration is on a first come first serve basis until each program is full or one week after the program starts whichever comes first.
Bingos may be bought out for $80.00 per bingo.
Please bring your cheque book as post dated cheques are required when signing up for the Bingos. All program costs include a $26.00 Skate Canada Fee and a $5.00 Alberta Section Fee. Valid TGCA membership is required to sign up and may be purchased on registration night.
If out of area, you must purchase a TCGA membership: $30.00 if out of area & no community membership in community they reside. $15.00 if out of area but have proof of community membership in community they reside.
Refund Policy:
1. The TGISC has the right to change or cancel any program for which there is insufficient paid registration. In the event of any program change or cancellation the registrants will be offered a full or pro-rated refund, as appropriate.
2. All requests for refunds must be promptly made in writing to the Board of Directors to the attention of the President or Vice-President.
3. No refund will be provided after the first (2) two lessons of a session unless accompanied by a medical letter/note. Refunds or credits for medical reasons will be issued upon receipt of a doctor’s letter, on a pro-rated basis using the date on the medical note or, if relevant, the accident report form.
4. No refunds will be given for missed skating sessions or for those sessions canceled due to test nights, inclement weather or building maintenance problems.
5. The $31.00 Skate Canada membership fee will not be refunded.
6. ALL withdrawals are subject to a $25 administrative charge.
